Lessons of Darkness

Film that surveys the disaster of the Kuwaiti oil fields in flames, with little narration and scarcely any interviews.

An apocalypse created by mankind. Specifically, Saddam Hussein. I hope he rots at a special place in hell.

I understand what effect Herzog was trying to achieve, and he apparently stated that he sees this more like sci-fi movie than a documentary. But I still felt it was wrong to use beautiful classical music to accompany this devastating display of destruction.
